when to consider rhinoplasty
A feminine nose is typically more refined and narrow with a soft rounded tip. Women who have larger, more angular noses with broad tips can appear more masculine and have an unbalanced facial appearance. Dr. Correa strives to create beauty and proportion in sculpting the nose so it enhances the feminine aspect of appearance, without drawing attention to the fact that the patient has undergone rhinoplasty.
There are many flaws that can be corrected by a competent rhinoplasty surgeon. Patients most often ask for help with:

the recovery
Rhinoplasty recovery involves some bruising and swelling. The vast majority of this will dissipate in the first 7-10 days. Patients are typically able to return to work within 7-10 days. By the end of the 2nd-to-3rd week, much of the swelling will have resolved.
We will schedule regular follow-ups after your surgery, including the morning after surgery, 5 – 7 days post-surgery, and 8 days after surgery.
As with any surgery, you should avoid strenuous activity for several weeks to allow your body to heal, and no contact sports for 8 weeks (e.g. basketball, soccer). Although some aspects of your results can be seen early in the healing phase, in rhinoplasty we must be patient as your results aren’t ‘final’ until we reach one year.’
